Breeding conditions:
|
| Large numbers of lemmings ensured successful breeding of avian predators such as Snowy Owls, Rough-legged Buzzards, Long-tailed, Arctic and Pomarine Skuas. Arctic Foxes were not recorded. Judging by regular records of broods, wader breeding was successful. Remains of an adult Turnstone were found near one of the six Snowy Owl nests. |
